Every child has their own blog that can be accessed by parents, teachers and child. This exciting tool allows for the children to establish a positive digital footprint, communicate via digital tools, allows for transparency for parents and families, gives new ways of thinking about web tools, and allows for effective digital citizenship.
Each child has the opportunity to share work that they are particularly proud of on their blog. This then allows for communication to occur through the comment button between the teacher, student and family.
The class blog site will also be a base of all information that is shared with parents and child. Monthly newsletters will be posted informing parents of key dates and the learning that is taking place in the Grade. Videos and links to information for the children to view will also be posted on kidblog.
